Bentley celebrates 80,000th Continental GT
January 29 2021,
The Bentley factory in Crewe has produced its 80,000th Bentley Continental GT, an impressive milestone for such a luxurious and exclusive vehicle.
Three generations of the Bentley Continental have lived in Crewe since 2003 when the first Continental GT was built. The Bentley coupe, credited for the brand’s revival and continual increase in popularity, was completely redesigned a few years ago, transformed into one of the most luxurious and exclusive vehicles on the road.
Although Bentley builds roughly 5,000 Continental GT models every year in Crewe, the numerous configuration options (over 17 billion possible variations of the Continental GT exist) mean that no two models are alike.
The factory in Crewe has evolved just like the Continental GT, reducing its emissions by 48 per cent over that span and lowering its power consumption by 27 per cent.
